The 9 oz to 12 oz Upgrade: An Honest Changelog

If you bought from us in the early days, the candle that arrives today is a different product wearing the same jokes. In software terms, this was a major version bump, so here is the changelog, including the honest parts.
Added
- Three more ounces. Candles went from 9 oz to 12 oz in a glass jar about 4 inches tall and 3 inches wide. More wax, more burn, same shelf footprint.
- Magic Gamer Dust. 16 mica shimmer colors on every candle, hand-applied, no upcharge. This option literally could not exist in the factory era.
- A face behind the wick. Every candle is now poured by our family in Arizona. Complaints and compliments reach the actual maker.
Changed
- Soy to paraffin. The most debated line in the changelog, so we wrote a full honest comparison. Short version: stronger scent throw, better color, equally safe with a trimmed wick.
- Scent model. One rotating seasonal fragrance (currently citrus) instead of a static catalog.
- Ship time. 2 to 5 business days, because made-to-order means made after you order.
Removed
- The middleman. No more print-on-demand partner, which also removed the markup that came with it.
- Warehouse age. Your candle is days old on arrival, not quarters old.
Known issues
- Some older product photos still show the 9 oz era styling while we reshoot the lineup. The candles that arrive are the 12 oz spec on this page.
- Made-to-order cannot do same-day shipping, and we will not pretend otherwise. Order early for birthdays; see holiday timing if you are shopping ahead.
